THE HACIENDA
“Sarapampa” is a word from the Quechua language meaning "cornfield". Situated in a privileged location in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the property is just 40 minutes from the city of Cusco and 5 minutes from the town of Pisac. Hacienda Sarapampa offers visitors the opportunity to have a unique cultural experience around traditions associated with corn production practices in an authentic and natural environment.
The Giant
WHITE CUSCO CORN!
The culture around production of this type of corn has been linked to daily life in the Sacred Valley since early times. The variety grown is the Giant White Corn, a unique variety in the world due to its exceptional characteristics and size. Domesticated since Inca times, this corn has adapted to the unique conditions of this valley in such way that it only grows here, protected by the mountains and their spirits.

In Hacienda Sarapampa we invite you to taste traditional receipes from our grandma´s recipe book with the touch of our chef and the most fresh ingredients directly from our vegetable orchard and local farmers. No GMOs here folks, pure naturally grown products.

The Peruvian Paso horse is a breed of easy going saddle horse known for its smooth ride. It is distinguised by a natural, four-beat, lateral gait called the “Paso Llano”. Elegant by nature, it is the perfect companion to dance “The Marinera” with its female companion. At Hacienda Sarapampa we invite you to enjoy this one-of-a-kind spectacle.

Be our guest. Enjoy a unique experience and learn how corn influenced the Andeans and those who followed during colonial and recent times. Afterwards you will enjoy a delicious 7-course lunch based on both indigenous ingredients and cuisines brought in during colonial times.
